Remember Nelly? The guy who sings ‘Hot In Herre’ and wore a plaster on his face?
The ‘rapper’ has been arrested for possession of drugs in Tennessee.
He was pulled over by a state trooper on Saturday morning where he failed to provide two required stickers. The trooper then decided to inspect the car after recognising the smells of marijuana.
A statement has been released:
A full search of the bus led to the discovery of “a plastic bag that contained five rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine, as well as a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia”. Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes, was later charged with felony possession of drugs, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and was taken to Putnam County Jail.
