Ricky Gervais Hate Campaign Against Hunters Is What We Need More Of 172

It’s no secret that Ricky Gervais is an animal lover. If you’ve been watching his social media accounts for the last few weeks you’ll be very aware this.

His hate campaign towards animal hunters around the world has picked up steam and he has not taken his foot off the accelerator once in the process. And we’re glad.

It all started when he posted this photo on twitter just over a week ago, and it doesn’t take a genius to work out that it was going to go viral.

And that it did.

But Ricky wasn’t finished there. The award winning comedian then tweeted this photo just a day later, and it made an even bigger impact than the previous one.

It racked up over 40,000 retweets and caught the attention of millions around the world – including the hunter herself, Rebecca Francis, who is the winner of competition show ‘Extreme Huntress’.

She wasn’t happy with Ricky’s attack of her – which is rich considering she has violently murdered many an innocent animal – and took to social media to try and justify her actions, saying she killed the giraffe because it was “old and close to death.”

Well, Ricky had a reply for that one, too.

And another one.

With nowhere to hide and not much else to say, Rebecca decided to reach for the sexism card, blaming Ricky and the thousands of people sending her abuse of being sexist.

As Ricky said, this is nothing to do with sex – and to blame the abuse on that is the act of a desperate person. There is literally no way to justify killing an innocent animal and barbarically posing with it, and people like Rebecca have no idea how to defend themselves.

But I suppose that’s what you get when you use these trophies on social media. If you want to continue murdering these defenceless creatures, then that’s your choice. Display your ‘trophies’ privately and prepare for one day being trampled on by an animal that doesn’t want to die.

Meanwhile, expect to face the wrath of outraged animal lovers who don’t want to see your vile portfolio of work.
