Andrew Hennells proved he was no criminal mastermind by telling his Facebook friends he was ‘Doing Tesco Over’ before robbing the store.
The idiotic 31-year old escaped from the supermarket with £410, before getting busted by the police after a member of the public informed them of his intentions. He even posted a picture of his weapons of choice just before hitting the store.
Sgt Pete Jessop stated:
The pictures and posts on Facebook helped us confirm what we already knew.’ And described the case as ‘bizarre’ and ‘unusual’.Advertisement
Officers found Andrew at his local boozer flashing the cash. He’s recently pleaded guilty of carrying offensive weapons and of course the robbery, he will be sentenced on April 8th.
