Samuel L. Jackson has called for fellow celebrities to unite and oppose the “racist police.”

Jackson references to the ALS ice bucket challenge, presumably because he wants his challenge to go viral and get the same kind of worldwide attention.

He encourages people to join him in singing the “We Ain’t Gonna Stop Til People Are Free” song. This is presumably Jackson reacting to the killing of unarmed black citizens by the police. The most recent case being Eric Garner who was strangled to death after being put in a chokehold by police in Staten Island, New York.

Last Saturday ‘tens of thousands’ of people marched on the New York Police Department (NYPD) to protest against the police killings.

If you want to sing it, the lyrics are:

I can hear my neighbor cryin’ ‘I can’t breathe’
Now I’m in the struggle and I can’t leave.
Callin’ out the violence of the racist police.
We ain’t gonna stop, till people are free.
We ain’t gonna stop, till people are free.
