Hold the front page. Researchers from the London School of Economics have made the shocking connection between banning mobile phones and kids doing better in schools after an extensive study.

The study tested 91 schools in Birmingham, Leicester, London and Manchester and found that it also helped reduce the social gap between rich and poor pupils, solving the ‘educational inequality’ issue.

Now I can’t help but think this is stating the obvious here and frankly, any teacher that allows a pupil to faff about on their phone when they should be working is failing the kids anyway and should be taking the phones off them regardless of results from a study.
