A third grade teacher and her husband in North Carolina have been arrested after a meth lab was discovered at their house.

Police with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant yesterday and discovered the incriminating equipment at the couple’s Zebulon, N.C. home.

38-year-old Lori Riley Whitley and her 41-year-old husband Gary were taken into custody and their 8-year-old son was handed over to social services.

The Whitleys now face multiple charges, including manufacturing methamphetamine and child abuse.

Naturally, Lori Riley Whitley has also been suspended from her job at Wendell Elementary School.

Sadly, there is no confirmation as to whether Lori was actually a chemistry teacher or if she stole the lab supplies from the school. Or if Gary shouted the word “bitch” a lot.
