Scientists from Harvard have proved that ‘man flu’ is in fact very real. But we already knew that.

Professor Lester Kobzik at the Harvard University School of Public Health says that during tests, female mice had a better resistance to bacterial pneumonia due to an enzyme which is activated by oestrogen.

Whereas male mice have lower levels of oestrogen, which make the effects of flu far worse for men. And while it was tested on mice, it does in fact follow through for humans.

So there it is. Men suffer from flu far worse than women, and have every right to play on the PS4 all day moaning about it.
