The French satire magazine Charlie Hebdo has released the front cover of their first edition since the horrific attack last Wednesday. And have absolutely nailed it.
Yup… That is the Prophet Muhammed. Bold.
He is depicted holding a sign saying ‘Je Suis Charlie’, with ‘All Is Forgiven’ written above him.
The publications lawyer said that ‘it was important to show that staff would “cede nothing” to extremists’.
3 million copies of the magazine have been printed this week, a tad more than the usual 60,000. The edition is being made only by people from Charlie Hebdo, as they are not accepting any contributions from other cartoonists.
