It’s been a strange old couple of years for Transformers star Shia LaBeouf. He’s pretty much been having a gradual Miley Cyrus-esque breakdown.
So his latest claims don’t really come as much of a surprise. But they’re probably the most outlandish yet.
He’s claiming he was raped by a woman during his off-the-wall art exhibition where he sat in a small room at the Stephen Choen Gallery in LA, with a bag on his head that read ‘I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE’.
He told Dazed Digital that a woman “stripped and raped” him while her boyfriend waited outside.
“One woman came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened. She whipped my legs for 10 minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me.” He said.
Apparently, during his exhibition, he vowed to never move or talk. So if he actually was raped, he couldn’t – or decided because ‘art’ – that he wouldn’t do anything about it, pretty much allowing it to happen.
He also explains how it was painful for his girlfriend, who was somewhere in the queue at the time and found out when whispers made their way down the line.
“It was Valentine’s Day and I was living in the gallery for the duration of the event. We were separated for five days [him and his girlfriend], no communication. So it really hurt her as well, as I guess the news of it traveled through the line. When she came in she asked for an explanation, and I couldn’t speak, so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful.”
If true though, that’s pretty fucked up. And we hope he gets some justice out of it.
