Police were called to Nando’s in Chester after a group of lads dressed as toy soldiers ‘stormed’ the place.
A football team out on a stag do decided to go in fancy dress as toy soldiers, all painted green and carrying plastic toy guns. They ran into the chicken chain and started to perform army drills. However police arrived and confiscated the toy guns, calling their fun ‘ill considered revelry’.
The stunt divided opinion on Facebook, some people said that the current heightened terror alert caused people to be scared, saying it was ‘lucky that they didn’t get shot’.
Other people saw the funny side. Like the mum of four who said her children loved them, and they even stopped for photo’s with the kids too. Fair play.
Additionally, if they were being serious, I’m sure they’d have demanded a Nando’s black card.
