In great news for Disney fans, another beloved princess is coming to the small screen.
Before ‘Frozen’ and Queen Elsa infiltrated our lives with ‘Let It Go’, there was ‘Tangled’ and Rapunzel which won the hearts of young (and old) viewers.
Now, Disney have announced that Rapunzel, Eugene (aka. Flynn Rider), Pascal and Maximus will hit TV screens in 2017, in Disney Channel animated series ‘Tangled’ based on the 2010 film.

The new show will pick up where the movie left off (but before the 2012 animated short ‘Tangled Ever After’) and tell the story of Rapunzel trying to acclimatise to her new life as a princess, after being reunited with her family.
The problem is, instead of being interested in ruling her kingdom or marrying Eugene, she would rather go on adventures, much to the dismay of her father.
The main cast from the film will return for the show, with Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi set to reprise their roles, plus Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater on board to create original music.
Kids are going to love this and, let’s face it, you’re pretty excited too.
