I don’t know about you, but I’m a massive fan of animated films, so when it was confirmed that a sequel for The Incredibles was on its way, I was extremely happy about it.
While promoting Tomorrowland, Incredibles director Brad Bird spoke with Collider about the upcoming sequel and the ideas he has for it.
He said: “I had a lot of ideas for the original Incredibles that I didn’t get a chance to use, that I like. I have ideas that I wanted to pursue a little bit and there wasn’t enough time in Incredibles. There are new ideas I have, and I think there are enough of those together to make an interesting movie.”
"Reports" have been saying a LOT of nonsense about the plot of Incredibles 2. Just relax. I've got this. https://t.co/3KFAJqaoS7

Brad went on to confirm that The Incredibles 2 is his next project, which means we can probably expect a release at some point in 2016.
Meanwhile, his latest film, Tomorrowland, opens in cinemas on May 22, 2015.
