Remember the old Nokia? You know, the one that was used as a deadly weapon, lasted about 6 months before dying and had some of the most banging ring tones ever? Well, it’s back. Kind of.
Obviously, it’s not a smartphone. I mean, that defeats the whole point of it being back to basics. So there won’t be any crystal clear camera or touchscreen retina display on offer, but what it does have is a trusty battery and some essentials.
The Nokia 215 will have a 2.5 inch display, a battery that lasts for a month, 32GB of expandable onboard storage and it allows MP3 playback. Woah. MP3. It also has a camera, but we’re not sure what megapixels it boasts.
You’ll also be able to use Facebook and Twitter, in a much more budget, minimised scenario. And the best thing about it? It will cost you no more than 20 quid. So if you’re skint, but want a cheap phone with social media access that will hardly ever die on you, this is going to be perfect.
It will roll out in Europe in the next few months.
