These Lads Are Doing Homeless People’s Laundry For Free

Nicholas Marchesi and Lucas Patchett are the founders of Orange Sky Laundry, a non-profit organisation that washes the dirty laundry of homeless people, for free.

The service operates in different places around Australia between 6am and 11am, including Brisbane and Ipswich.

The pair took a DIY approach to making the mobile laundrette and the final product is amazing. The van is kitted out with two washing machines and two tumble dryers.

These guys are really giving something back to the community and are helping make the world just a little bit nicer. If only there were more people like this.

You have to ask yourself, when was the last time you did something good for a stranger? If you want to show your support to these guys they accept donations of $6 or more. The minimum will cover the cost of one wash cycle.
