This Jack Russell called Glen is completely blind, but luckily his best mate Buzz is on hand, as his own guide dog.

The adorable pair were both abandoned, but teamed up and are now inseparable.

They were found in a sea tunnel in Hartlepool a few weeks ago, and are now best buddies in the Stray Aid Rescue Centre in Coxhoe, Count Durham.

The Jack Russell and Staffordshire Bull Terrier are both up for adoption, but come as a pair, of course.

Nine year old Buzz leads Glen around, and will help him find the right food bowl.

Sue Bielby, who works at the Stray Aid Rescue, spoke about how the pair can not be split up, saying:

Buzz acts as Glenn’s eyes and it’s as simple as that.

Glenn gets his confidence from Buzz, and if they were separated even for a few minutes they both bark and become distressed, so they would need to have a loving home together.

I am a huge advocate of rescuing dogs. I’ve had a few myself, and if I could take them on I would have this pair in a heartbeat.

Hopefully they find a nice home to go and live happily together.
