Selfie sticks are everywhere these days. From tourists to Instagram ‘models’, everybody wants a photo of themselves from a bit further than arms length away.
But, who wants to look like a lonely loser in a selfie? Nobody, right?
Imagine just how much cooler you would look if your selfie stick was a plastic hand, so it looked like somebody was holding your hand while taking the picture.
Well now you are in luck!
This selfie stick made from what appears to be a mannequin’s arm can make you look like you actually have a friend!
Shockingly, it’s not in the shops just yet.
It is currently a prototype of designers Aric Snee and Justin Crowe, who called the product:
A direct commentary on the growing selfie stick phenomenon, and the constant, gnawing need for narcissistic internet validation.
I’m not sure if they are being sarcastic or not, but I crave internet validation, so hopefully they will be available soon. Otherwise I’m going to have to make my own out of a stolen Topshop mannequin and my ex-girlfriend’s hoodie.
How tragic would THAT be…
