Last night, the country saw another dog win Britain’s Got Talent and scoop a whopping £250,000 for its owner.
That dog was Matisse, an extremely well trained collie who had an absolute smasher of a performance with its owner Jules O’Dwyer in last night’s final.
However, it has been revealed today by the Mirror that Matissa actually didn’t walk the tight-rope – which was evidently a major part in why the performance was so well received by both the studio audience and the public.
Speaking on the Lorraine show, Jules said:
Matisse is a little bit afraid of heights so although he could officially do it, Chase is the action dog, so he plays the double for him.
While some people on social media seem to be angry at the idea of a stunt dog being used, there is no doubt that all three of the dogs used in the performance are incredibly talented – and were so good that nobody even realised.
We have to also take our hats off to Jules, she is one efficient trainer!
