A Ukrainian woman has caused widespread outrage after posing in make-up looted from the crash site of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17.
The young ‘separatist’, Ekaterina Parkhomenko, from the eastern region of the country, Instagrammed herself wearing make-up ‘from the field’ – where the bodies of victims of the plane crash lay.
‘Mascara from Amsterdam, or rather from the field. Well, you know what I mean,’ she wrote on her social media page before deleting it.
Then added: ‘An acquaintance of mine, a looter, gave it to me.’
Flight MH17 went down in Parkhomenko’s hometown. The crash killed all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board.
Unsurprisingly, the Instagram post has not been well received on social media, and Parkhomenko is facing a huge backlash.
