Since its inception in 2009 Boomtown Fair has become without doubt one of the most whimsical, hedonistic and frivolous festivals in the world.

The production, vibe and clientèle have ensured that it has cemented a sterling reputation as a haven for all things creative, imaginative and magical. In short, attending this festival is like being transported to an alien planet inhabited by a curious collective of wacky artists, musicians and characters that would even be too much for Alice in Wonderland.

Patrons are strongly encouraged to dress as outlandish as humanly possible, a bespoke pop-up community complete with an array of intertwining alleys (you will get lost) is fashioned and the crowd is littered with exquisitely dressed performers adding to the whole atmosphere. Boomtown has the little touches that make a festival experience special.

With the music policy almost as broad and diverse as people that attend, ticket holders can expect a strong selection of dub, roots and reggae alongside countless other genres – click here for the full line-up.

So if you’re looking for positive vibes, outstanding production and a festival that goes that little bit further this summer we’ll see you in Hampshire on 13th August.
