Manchester United look set to miss out on the signatures of both Toni Kroos and Matio Kovacic.
Kroos will stay with the Bundesliga Champions for at least another season, his agent has revealed.
United have been linked with the 24 year old midfielder for some time, and are reportedly willing to offer him a generous contract.
However his agent, Volker Sruth, has stated in a recent newspaper article that the German International will stay at Bayern until at least the end of his contract, which expires in 2015.
“There is no official contract offer and there is no need for United to submit one, because Toni will play at FC Bayern until at least 2015”
The other man said to be on United’s wishlist also looks set to stay at his current club, Inter Milan.
Kovacic, the talented 19 year old Croatian midfielder, claimed on the club’s official website, that he is happy playing for Inter, and wants to grow at the club.
“I am happy because I arrive to Inter, a great club… I want to become a leader at Inter”
