Breaking Bad spin-off show ‘Better Call Saul’ may feature a lot more of Bryan Cranston’s Walter White than we previously thought.
The new show was initially tipped to take place in the 1980s, before Mr White and Jesse went into business together. However, it now turns out the show will follow a ‘flexible’ timeline spanning over several decades meaning producers will have ‘the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad’.
Executive producer Peter Gould explained: ‘One of the great things about having a time line which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad.’
Gould also said that the cast and crew are under ‘enormous pressure’ to live up to expectations independent from Walter White’s return.
‘We want to make a show that stands on it own, is its own story and is a brand extension,’ he continued.
‘We think we have a story that is worth making,’ he added to Daily News.
We can’t f*cking wait.
