What Do You Do When Faced With A 13 Foot Alligator? Carry On Playing Golf Obviously

A casual round of golf on a Sunday afternoon is supposed to be relaxing, but one set of competitors at Myakka Pines Golf Club had a bit of a shock when a 13 foot alligator casually invaded their game, and while most people would run in the opposite direction, these brave folks simply carried on with their match.

In a shockingly casual and frankly rather dangerous attitude, Mickie Zada, the general manager of the Florida based golf course brushed the reptile invasion aside and claimed that it was no problem – and in fact, was pretty ordinary, adding:

If we stopped playing because of alligators, we’d never have golfers.

We think there is a fine line between bravery and stupidity, and these golfers may just be flirting a little bit too closely with the latter in this case – and better pray that the alligator doesn’t decide he wants an early dinner!
