Safely cleaning windows 69 stories up the One World Trade Center would be pretty nerve-racking in itself. But try hanging on for your life while your scaffold breaks under your feet.
These two window cleaners had to deal with just that at exactly 1,776 feet yesterday afternoon.
Both window cleaners were trapped on the south side of the recently built and finished One World Trade Centre skyscraper in the heart of New York City.
Window cleaners have been seen all over the building over the past few days after its first tenants, Condé Nast, moved in.
Firefighters got to the scene as soon as they could and managed to cut a hole in the brand new window for them to pull themselves through.
Thankfully, there were no injuries. And what a story to tell the grandkids!
