Cheryl Treadway was being held hostage along with her three children by her boyfriend Ethan Nickerson on Monday. Nickerson had taken her cell phone and demanded that he accompany her to pick up their children from school whilst holding her at knife point.

After they returned home with the children, Cheryl managed to convince her boyfriend and kidnapper to let her use her phone and place an online pizza order from their local Pizza Hut in Avon Park. Cheryl took this opportunity to include the message “Please help. Get 911 to me,” in the section for her delivery instructions, as well the message “911hostage help!”

The couple had argued earlier that day, which led to Nickerson losing his cool. The police Deputies said he may have been high on meth when he held his family hostage. He has since been charged with aggravated assault with a weapon without intent to kill, battery, false imprisonment and obstructing justice by depriving communication to law enforcement.

We have to commend Cheryl on her quick thinking!
