Gwyneth Paltrow's ski accident trial truly was the gift that kept on giving, and luckily for us, it might not be fully over yet.
Despite the Goop founder's victory, the civil case could soon be reopened after retired optometrist, Terry Sanderson, suggested he may decide to appeal the Utah jury's decision.
Sanderson famously attempted to sue Paltrow for $300,000, claiming a crash between them at Deer Valley ski resort in 2016, left him permanently brain-impaired and altered his personality.

In turn, the wellness mogul countersued the eye doctor for a symbolic $1, plus legal fees - which are likely to be in the hundreds of thousands.
And it turns out, if it's good enough for Taylor Swift, it's good enough for Gwyneth, as the jury ruled in her favour on Thursday, March 30, deciding the pensioner was "100 per cent" at fault for the accident.
Following the ruling, Sanderson's attorney Robert B. Sykes, put out an official statement, suggesting the fight is far from over.

"The marathon ski collision trial ended yesterday," he wrote, before asking journalists not to contact his client, who was "exhausted" after the legal ordeal.
"As Mr. Sanderson’s attorneys, we are considering all options. This includes a possible Motion for a New Trial, an appeal to the Utah Supreme, and other legal options," he continued, as per the Daily Mail.
"These options will be thoroughly explored between the attorneys and Terry Sanderson at a later date. We are grateful for the hard and amazing work by Judge Holmberg, his staff and the bailiffs. We also thank the jury for its service."
The statement, however, sends a very different message from Sanderson's comments 24 hours earlier, in which he said it was "absolutely not" worth pursuing the lawsuit against the A-lister.
When reporters mentioned the fact his medical history had been made public to the world throughout the trial, he joked: "It's like, I'm gonna' be on the internet forever."

Despite his disappointment, however, the pair appeared to leave things rather amicably, after Sanderson revealed what Gwyneth had said to him as she left the courtroom.
"I wish you well," she told him, to which he replied: "Thank you, dear."
Whether or not the case will make it back into the courtroom remains to be seen, as one of Sanderson's team would need to prove that some aspect of the case needs to be re-examined in order to appeal to the Utah Supreme Court.
