Machine Gun Kelly praised for surprising response after being asked to say ‘mean things’ about Taylor Swift

Machine Gun Kelly had to either diss Taylor Swift or eat a very hot wing

Machine Gun Kelly was put in a tricky spot when he was asked to say 'three mean things' about Taylor Swift.

MGK would be a braver man than me if he chose to poke that particular hornets nest, or Swiftie nest I suppose.

Taylor Swift’s fans are among us everywhere and routinely show dedication and support for the music sensation.

So, when Machine Gun Kelly was asked to say three mean things about the star, he could have potentially landed himself in a lot of trouble.

On the latest episode of Hot Ones, where celebrities answer questions and eat hot chicken wings, Kelly competed against rapper Trippie Redd.

The pair essentially played Truth or Wing (a distant cousin of truth and dare) and had a choice about answering a question truthfully or eating a hot wing.

Redd brought up the time Kelly once offered Travis Kelce $1 million if he changed allegiance and joined the Cleveland Browns.

Redd urged Machine Gun Kelly to 'burn that bridge by saying three mean things about Taylor Swift'.

Before giving his response, Kelly took one long pause and looked directly in the camera.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you have got to be out of your motherf**king mind if you think I want any smoke with that fanbase.

"Also, Taylor is a saint and very nice to me and Travis is my bro."

After Trippie Redd joked that he should kiss her feet as well if he was going to keep praising her like this, Kelly doubled down and said Taylor Swift was simply very nice.

MGK’s refusal to diss Swift was appreciated by viewers as many social media users remarked they were endeared to the star for his attitude and surprising response.

One viewer wrote: "Whoever gave MGK that Taylor Swift question is evil."

Another wrote: "IT NEVER ceases to amaze me... that every person who ever meets Taylor has only great things to say about her. Except of course Aimee & Kanye ...such losers."

A third said: "Love them, funny dudes! Love their vibes,"

Kelly also explained some of the criticism to his initial offer to Kelce because you gotta silence some of the social media comments at some point.

“To the narrative that were like ‘that’s it, just a million dollars?’. I said I would give him a million dollars spending money on top of whatever the NFL does, I am not the NFL.

“Obviously they would have to pay him 30 million dollars or whatever it is, I said I would give him a bonus and we can... I'm just going to eat a chicken wing.”

With a mouthful of chicken Kelly began singing ‘I knew you were trouble’, the man is a clearly a Swiftie through and through.

He made the right choice, because the stress of dealing with the fans... yeah always pick the hot wing.
