Sheer number of celebrities that showed up for single magazine photo is blowing people's minds

It's been hailed as 'legendary'

If a magazine was going to achieve the impossible, it would be Vogue.

The British edition of the prestige magazine debuted its March 2024 cover image today (February 8) - and it's safe to say that it's pretty epic.

For the Vogue Icons issue, the publication managed to get 40 of the world's most famous women all in the same room at the same time for a photoshoot.

At first glance, you'd think the photo was photoshopped, but a video shared on social media proves that all the celebs attended the chaotic, yet exciting, shoot at the same time.

From Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus, to Oprah Winfrey and Naomi Campbell - think of a super famous woman, and she's probably there.

The phenomenal shoot comes as a goodbye to British Vogue editor Edward Enniful, who has worked at the magazine for over six years.

The cover photo marks his 76th and final edition of Vogue.

"The end of an era," the magazine penned to its official Instagram page.

"After six and a half years and 153 cover stars – including the 40 legendary women who were photographed together in New York for our March 2024 issue – behold @Edward_Enninful’s 76th and final edition of @BritishVogue."

Edward Enniful has been the head of British Vogue for over 6 years.

It went on: "Bonded by magnificence, purpose and a previous appearance on the cover, a sisterhood of megastars gathered for a once-in-a-lifetime photoshoot.

"When the initial idea for the cover was ignited, there was only one question: would 40 of the most booked and blessed women on earth actually make it to one studio in Manhattan, on one day in December, to take one image together? Spoiler alert: they came."

The celebs came over from all different sides of the globe for the history-making cover photo.

People have since voiced how amazing it is that Vogue managed to get all the stars in one room.

Replying to a clip shared on X of the behind the scenes video from the shoot, one person wrote: "Looks like heaven."

Another person raved: "All legends and icons and very talented women! We love to see them coming together!"

"This is legendary," a third went on, while a different person hailed it as 'remarkable'.

Many of those who feature on the cover have replied to British Vogue's Instagram post and shared the love with Enniful.

"We love you @edward_enninful," said Cara Delevingne.

Retired tennis player Serena Williams added: "You are a star love you!"

Elsewhere, Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley, as well as Crazy Rich Asian's Gemma Chan, replied with a string of heart emojis.

Talk about a send off!

The newest edition of British Vogue hits shelves February 13.
