Musician Morgan Wallen has issued a public statement after his arrest in Nashville.
Wallen had been out at Chief's bar in Nashville on 7 April when he allegedly threw a chair from the bar's terrace.
Two police officers had been standing near where the chair landed on the street below, and Wallen was arrested for three counts of reckless endangerment.

The 30-year-old singer was later pictured smiling in his booking photo with Metro Nashville Police.
Wallen, who is known for his songs 'Last Night' and 'Sand In My Boots', has since been released, with his bond reportedly set at $15,250.
A court date for Wallen has been set for 3 May, when Wallen will already be in Nashville performing over 2 May and 3 May.
Wallen's attorney, Worrick Robinson, had previously released a public statement on his behalf, saying: "At 10:53pm Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities."
However, now Wallen has issued a statement personally from his X account.

In the statement, the musician explained why he had not previously made a public statement on the incident.
He said: "I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility."
In a separate tweet, he added: “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe.”
Wallen also clarified that his tour will not be affected by the circumstances, saying that there will be 'no change'.

Wallen's arrest report includes an account from police video tape in which he can be seen 'lunging and throwing an object off the roof'.
An insider claimed to the Daily Mail that Wallen's outburst was connected to his ex Katie “KT” Smith, as he had learned that she had married her fiancé Luke Scornavacco.
However, Smith later released a statement refuting the claim, saying that she has seen 'no evidence' that there is a connection.

She said: "Although it may seem like it correlates because of the timeline. I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement."
Smith added: "I cannot speak on Morgan’s behalf, but I do pray the very best for him. Praying that this was just a slip up and that he will return to the good path that he was on prior."
