I can’t be certain but this may be the worst thing that’s ever happened in a public place – a pregnant woman causally gave her husband oral sex near the lifts at Westfield shopping centre as their children looked on.
The court heard how Akeela Ali, 25, and her husband Fahad Bilal, 26, got carried away by the romantic situation and “it just happened”.
But it definitely won’t be happening again any time soon – not in London anyway, as the couple have been banned from coming back to the UK capital for two months.
The couple, from Newport in South Wales, were caught on CCTV engaging in the sexual activity in broad daylight – apparently, her head could be seen moving up and down for 10 minutes, before she reportedly spat in a tissue and disposed of it in a nearby flowerpot. Grim.
They were on a day trip with their two children, aged three and five, who they let run off and play while they got down to business on a couch.
However, the kids soon grew bored and came over to try and interrupt the nasty proceedings, but the couple just carried right on doing the deed. They said in court, however, that they did at least think about stopping, which is good of them.
Appearing at Hammersmith magistrates court, Ali blamed the act of passion on her pregnancy hormones, claiming she suddenly felt “horny” and couldn’t help herself. Bilal added that it was a “human mistake”.
Prosecutor Arlene De Silva said:
She was aware that one of the children was sitting beside Mr Bilal for a portion of the event. She said she regretted the incident and was ashamed.
The judge added:
You understand the seriousness of this is because you are in public, your children are there, other people’s children are there. Fortunately I have been told no one in particular has seen it, but you are the adult and you should know better. I’m going to exclude you from coming within the M25 for eight weeks.
