Horrifying footage of a policeman allegedly pinning a man to the floor and repeatedly punching him has sparked an investigation into the West Mercia Police force in Hereford.

The video was captured by Georgia Evans, a friend of the alleged victim, on her mobile phone at 3.30am on Sunday, November 27, reports The Mirror.

Georgia claimed that her friend, Martin Krauze, was punched repeatedly by a police officer, who denies the claim, arguing CCTV footage does not show the officer hitting the alleged victim.

The officer, wearing a fluorescent yellow jacket and a black helmet, can be seen lying on top of the man and raising his arm.

PLEASE SHARE. Need to get this out!!
Video in slow motion shows my friend Martin Krauze being punched in the face by a police officer in Hereford on Sunday 27th November 2016 around 3:30am. If you watch carefully Martins hands are up in the air and is not fighting back. At 00:19 seconds you can actually see another police officer grabbing the police officer who’s ontop of Martin punching him. Martin had to be taken to A&E, had 3 stitches and his face is covered in bruises. They then arrested Martin for apparently assaulting a police officer. And are now saying that theyve watched the cctv and can not see the police officer hitting Martin, luckily I managed to record a bit of it before I was pulled away and restrained by another police officer!! Absolutely disgusting

West Mercia Police confirmed that the incident was referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission ‘due to the injuries the man received during his arrest’.

Martin was apparently ‘covered in bruises’ and had to visit A&E where he received three stitches.

He has been charged with assaulting a police officer and is due to appear at Hereford Magistrates Court on January 19.
