Iskra Lawrence is on a mission to show women everywhere that every body is beautiful…

The 25-year-old model from Worcestershire has taken the plus-sized world by storm and shared a picture of her posing in an orange bikini with her 379,000 Instagram followers as she hopes to educate women about positive body image.

Lawrence has posted the picture of bum with ‘tiger stripe’ marks, cellulite and back fat included in her on-going attempts to change the fashion industry’s views on size. Fair play to her.

The snap has had incredible feedback on the social media site, with more than 32,000 likes and nearly 3,000 comments with fans praising her curvy figure.

One user said: “Ive always been terrified of people seeing my stretch marks and cellulite….people like you give me more confidence :) thank you x.” Whilst another simply posted: “Go get em babygirl i salute u.”

This picture is just one of many revealing shots the size 14 model has uploaded in her attempts to shake up the industry which is fixated on size 0’s and all that.

The model – who was scouted when she was 13 after entering an ELLE girl search – has taken the fashion world by storm, but when she was 18 she ditched the diets and wanted a more natural figure.

Explaining her decision to promote fuller figures she told the MailOnline: “I realised at around 18 that instead of trying to change my body to fit into sample sizes I would try to change the industry.”

Iskra also revealed she works out three or four times a week for up to two hours and also runs a website called RunwayRiot which features unretouched photos so fellow women can feel empowered by the images.

She’s on a mission to show designers in her field that they should start to make more sizes so woman of all shapes and sizes can wear on trend fashion.

Iskra also works closely with the National Eating Disorder Association.
