You can buy pretty much anything these days, but footwear that changes colour at will? That’s a new one.
It could be a thing of the future however, with New York-based company, Shiftwear, trying to raise the $2 million needed to produce said trainers.
They’ve already surpassed their initial goal of $25,000, netting $128,560.
The shoes will be self-powered, 100% waterproof, have kevlar fiber soles, and have three different styles.
Should they raise the money, the shoes will be available in mid 2016.
You will be able to display images and prints on the HD eInk-powered shoes, and the animations will be controlled through a mobile or desktop application.
