maxresdefault 8 Check Out Quake Champions First Gameplay TrailerBethesda showed off Quake Champions with a CG trailer at E3 2016 that was very pretty, but didn’t really give much away about the actual game.

Now, Bethesda has unleashed the very first gameplay trailer as part of QuakeCon’s, and it looks as fast paced and crazy as you’d expect from a Quake game – check it out.

The trailer takes us through some of the game’s impressive maps before going all out and showcasing some classic Quake gameplay.

Shotguns, rocket launchers, assault rifles, and more, all fired at high speeds with quick movement and – of course – those sweet, sweet rocket jumps.

Quake Champions beta is set to arrive in 2017, with the full game scheduled for some time later in the year. The first public demo will be held Saturday August 6 at QuakeCon.

Quake Champions will be headed to PC initially, with console versions unconfirmed but not out of the question.

For full gameplay potential, the game runs at 120Hz with unlocked framerates. Developer id Software is aiming to get it working on a wide range of computer specs.

id Software boss Tim Willits told GameSpot:

We want to make sure that we have as many people as we possibly can. You’ll be able to turn down your specs and get a decent game at lower-end. But we want to shine on good systems.

Considering id Software did such a great job with the new DOOM, there’s every reason to be excited about Quake Champions.
