DOOM’s Coolest Weapon Remade With A Ton Of LEGO Bricks

The BFG 9000 from Doom is one of the coolest (and largest) weapons in videogames, so it’s not surprising that it took an absolute fuck ton of LEGO to build a replica.

ZaziNombies is an awesome YouTube channel that creates LEGO versions of video game weapons, and they recently turned their attention to Doom’s most famous gun. Weighing in at 9 kilos, it took over 5,000 bricks (and a lot of patience) to bring this badboy to life.

It’s certainly an impressive feat. While most of the weapons ZaziNombies works with have super detailed 3D models, our intrepid builder had to go from the retro sprite version of the BFG 9000 as seen in the original Doom.

It’s obviously not a hugely practical weapon, and was apparently pretty difficult to carry around. Still, it’s absolutely massive and looks spot on, so kudos to ZaziNombies for pulling it off.

Hopefully they took the gun apart after filming the video, otherwise the world just lost roughly 10% of its precious LEGO.
