You all know the drill by now; as the month of September dies, October gives rise to a whole new wave of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers – it’s beautiful, really.

Sony announced the coming freebies via the PlayStation Blog, and there are some serious gems. As usual, there are two to be had on each console.

Anyone with a PlayStation Plus subscription and a PS4 can get their hands on Transformers: Devastation, or the fantastic remaster of survival horror classic Resident Evil.

Those who insist on hanging on to their PS3, meanwhile, can get the racing game Mad Riders, or God simulator From Dust.

Finally, Code: Realize — Guardian of Rebirth and Actual Sunlight will be free for PlayStation Vita. Code Realize is a bizarre anime/interactive romance novel, while Actual Sunlight is described as ‘one of the bleakest experiences in indie gaming’, so have fun with those.

You can take a peek at the free PS4 games below, as if you didn’t already know what Resident Evil looks like.

All of the above games will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers from next Tuesday (October 3).

You’ll have until then to claim September’s free games, which include Lords of the Fallen and the amazing Journey.
