Adult video site Pornhub (as if you didn’t know that) has reported its traffic dipped by 10 per cent on Fallout 4’s release day.

In a very safe for work blog post, Pornhub revealed that traffic on its site slumped at around 3-4am on November 10 – chalking this up to people having finished installing the game. This was followed by a nosedive to around 10 per cent below the daily norm between 5am and 12pm as people played the game and went to work.

In the afternoon, traffic returned to normal, but after 6 PM, it dropped again when we assume that 9-5 workers arrived home and fired up their games. After midnight it seems like everyone finally took a break, and traffic jumped as high at 15 percent above daily norms.

Pornhub says it has around 60million daily page views, with “many” of its visitors being gamers. The blog also provided charts using Google Analytics to discover what kind of games its viewers play.

It’s worth taking the findings with a pinch of salt, as there isn’t any conclusive proof that Fallout 4 was to blame for the lack of traffic. Though let’s be honest – it wouldn’t be the most surprising thing..
