I can’t keep track of all these pubic hair trends, one minute they’re waxing each micro hair, next it’s all about trimming pubes into a Nike tick and then they stick gems on it.
Well now we’ve gone full circle back to the 70s bush, according to Net Mums, and many people are actually trying to restore those pubes they were trying so hard to get rid of a few years ago.
The new trend, which Gywneth Paltrow proudly rocks, is seeing women spend thousands of pounds to go through a hair restoration procedure after they lasered away their lady gardens.
The trend has been dubbed the ‘Hollywood regret’ in a bid to bring back the bush.
This whole thing seems to be going in circles anyway so why not just wait it out until the next wave of hairless montes pubis comes around?
Expensive treatments to restore pubes range from platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy, where blood is drawn from the arm, the growth-factor rich platelets are carefully separated out and then they are injected back into the skin.
Or in Korea, in the style of Wayne Rooney (but hopefully better), you can get a pubic hair transplant.
They say that the rise in porn kick-started the craze for shaving off all your pubic hair so that your genitals look pre-pubescent, so it’s probably a good thing that we’ve gone back to the more natural look.
In the words of Cameron Diaz:
Consider leaving your vagina fully dressed, ladies. Twenty years from now, you will still want to be presenting it to someone special, and it would be nice to let him or her unwrap it like the gift that it is.
Wise words indeed…
