– Large pumpkin (carved into a halloween face – but not all the way through, just the skin!)
– 50g butter
– 50g plain flour
– 500ml milk
– 200g Cheddar cheese
– 100g Mozzarella
– 1tbsp red food dye
– 350g cooked macaroni
First, melt the butter over a medium heat then throw in the flour and stir together into a paste.
Add the milk a little at a time. Stir well to make sure there’s no lumps until its all added and you have a smooth sauce.
Stir in the Cheddar, then the Mozzarella until melted.
Add in the red food dye…
Remove from the heat, pour over the cooked macaroni and mix well.
Spoon your macaroni into your pumpkin – fill it right up until it’s overflowing!
