– 400ml milk
– 1 x Terry’s Chocolate Orange
– 100g caster sugar
– 300ml double cream
– 4 x eggs
– 1 x orange (finely grated zest)
– 8 x croissants
– 1 tbsp butter
– 200g chocolate drops
First, gently heat up the milk, melt in the chocolate orange then remove from the heat.
Next, add the caster sugar, cream, eggs and orange zest to the mixture and whisk well to combine everything.
Now, grease a large oven proof dish with the butter, slice the croissants in half and arrange them.
Sprinkle over the chocolate drops then pour the milk mixture over everything. Push the croissants down to make sure they’re all submerged.
Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 35 minutes.
