– 1 x watermelon
– 300ml lemonade
– 8 x leaves gelatine
First, slice your watermelon in half and scoop out all the flesh.
Then blitz the flesh into a liquid and pass it through a sieve to remove any seeds.
Next, soften the gelatine in cold water.
Add the lemonade to the watermelon juice, then heat up about 250ml until it’s nearly boiling. Add the gelatine to the hot liquid and stir until it has completely dissolved.
Add that back to the rest of the liquid and stir well.
Now, pour the liquid back into the watermelon and refrigerate until the jelly has completely set – it could take overnight!
Slice up you watermelon into wedges…
