– 250g beef mince
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp mustard
– 1 tsp tomato ketchup
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– 80g mozzarella
– 12 streaky bacon rashers
– 2 brioche buns
– 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
– 3 tbsp mayonnaise
– 1/2 tsp sriracha
– 2 gherkins
– 1 baby gem lettuce
– 1 tomato
First, mix the beef mince with the garlic powder, mustard, ketchup, paprika and seasoning.
Form into 4 equally sized patties.
Place them all on a tray and top 2 of the patties with equal amounts of mozzarella.
Place the other remaining patties on top of each burger and crimp together. Leave to firm up in the fridge for 30 minutes.
To make the spicy burger sauce, mix together the ketchup, mayo, sriracha and one diced gherkin. Set aside for later.
Weave 6 pieces of bacon together for each burger and wrap. Cook the burgers at 200 degrees celsius for 30 minutes.
To finish, spoon the sauce on the buns. Top with lettuce, tomato, gherkin and finally the burger.
