Here’s How You Make Pull-Apart Pizza Bread

For the American Hot pizza bread:

– 800g loaf of bread
– 60g pepperoni
– Small handful of jalapeños
– 1 red onion (sliced)
– 100g grated mozzarella
– 50g grated cheddar

For the Marinara sauce:

– 3 cloves of garlic
– 1 red chilli
– 1 tsp oregano
– 250ml passata
– 1 tbsp fresh basil
– Salt and pepper



First, make long slices in the bread about two inches apart. Do this all across the bread.

Then in the opposite direction so that you get a checkerboard effect- be careful not to slice all the way through the bread.

Brush the top with a layer of melted butter.

Then push some red onion and jalapeños into the gaps.

Then mozzarella.

Then pepperoni.

And finally, more mozzarella, cheddar cheese and a sprinkle of oregano. Bake at 180 degrees celsius.

For the Marinara sauce, first fry the chilli and garlic in oil.

Then add the oregano and passata. Cook for five minutes.

Finally add the basil and seasoning, before taking the sauce off the heat.
