Last year the world, and the internet, went mad when Caitlyn Jenner posed in a beyond revealing swimming suit on the front cover of Vanity Fair. But now she’s planning to take things even further.
According to sources, Caitlyn is going to pose entirely naked all while on the front cover of Sports Illustrated magazine.
Apparently, the Olympian turned reality star will feature on the cover wearing merely an American flag and the Olympic medal she won 40 years ago, reports the Mirror.
Under the name Bruce Jenner, as she was formerly known, the 66-year-old transgender icon smashed the world decathlon record back in 1976 at the Montreal Summer Games.
A source told U.S. Weekly:
Caitlyn will wear nothing but an American flag and her Olympic medal. She’s excited about it.
Nine years ago, Caitlyn’s long term ex-wife Kris Jenner took part in an incredibly similar shoot, wearing nothing more than an American flag while holding a medal.
According to the Mirror, Caitlyn keeps her medal locked away in her make-up drawer so that her six children don’t find it and compare themselves to her.
In a previous interview, Caitlyn said:
My gold medal is my most prized possession – I’m so proud of it.
I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success.
I’m very proud of it.
In the past Sports Illustrated has also broken down barriers by being the first magazine to feature plus-size models on their front cover.
