Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest film The Revenant is sure to be a difficult watch, with some audience members reportedly having to leave preview screenings, and Oscar buzz has already on for Leo to scoop the best leading man gong.
But of course no one’s talking about that today though. Instead we’re asking ‘Does Leonardo DiCaprio get raped by a bear, not once, but twice?’
The short answer is no, despite reports yesterday, Fox have confirmed that Leo does not get raped by a bear twice, in fact he’s not even raped once. They say fearsome predator he fights in the film is a female and have issued a statement denying it, saying: “There is clearly no rape scene with a bear.”
Honestly the fact they had to release a statement, and that people even entertained the idea, is fucking worrying.
But would a bear rape Leonardo DiCaprio, if it had the chance? In case it’s not painfully obvious, the answer is ‘no’. No, a bear wouldn’t rape a man. There has never been a credible report of a man having been raped or sexually assaulted by a bear in recorded history, according to Discovery. So unless bears have been secretly editing their Wikipedia page we wouldn’t worry about it.
They’ve got some odd sexual habits including killing other bears’ cubs to get a female interested in them, and bear-on-bear blow jobs, but we don’t judge, everyone’s got their kinks.
