Dr Dre has confirmed that Eminem is working on a new album, and it's coming out this year.
The rapper and producer had been making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after his induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The appearance was the first time that Dr Dre had appeared on late-night TV in some 30 years, and saw him reunite with 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg.

His Hollywood Walk of Fame induction proved hugely popular with fans, drawing a huge crowd.
In fact, the crowd was so big that for a brief period, the Hollywood Boulevard had to be closed to traffic.
He was joined at the ceremony by Xzibit, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem.

While Eminem was absent from the couch on Jimmy Kimmel Live! later, it was Dr Dre's announcement about the Slim Shady rapper which has got people talking.
In his appearance on the show, Dr Dre confirmed that Eminem is working on his twelfth album.
He said: “Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year. He said it was okay for me to make an announcement right here on the show."

Dre also has a production credit on some of the tracks.
He continued: “I've got songs on it and it's fire. I’m actually going to get the entire album for the first time tomorrow.
"He holds his music close to his chest I haven’t even heard anything complete that I’ve done, but I’m going to hear it and he’s putting out an album in 2024.”
The upcoming album will be Eminem's twelfth studio album.

His last album, Music to be Murdered By was released in 2020, and debuted at number one on the Billboard 100 chart.
It was Eminem's tenth consecutive album which managed to achieve this.
Dr Dre has been instrumental in shaping Eminem's career as a musician.

This started with Dre bringing Eminem onto the big stage with his breakout hit My Name Is in 1998.
And just in case Eminem wasn't enough for Dr Dre, he also brought in another rapping protégé in the form of 50 Cent four years after he debuted Eminem.
As far as influencing the world of rap goes, that's pretty impressive.
50 Cent joined Dr Dre on the couch to speak to Jimmy Kimmel, along with Dre's long time friend Snoop Dogg.
For his part, Dre initially found fame as part of gangsta rap group N.W.A.
