Fans left stunned after Taylor Swift appears to drop Kim Kardashian ‘diss track’ on new album

Fans can't quite believe the 'diss track' appears on The Tortured Poets Department

Taylor Swift's new album is official out in the wild and there is, of course, a lot of talking points.

While the 'Shake it Off' singer is all loved up and happy with NFL star Travis Kelce nowadays, she certainly hasn't shied away from past relationships.

As a result, The 1975 frontman Matt Healy and actor Joe Alwyn appear to have special mentions in The Tortured Poets Department.

It's not just relationships Swift is lifting the lid off with her music though, as many fans believe Swift also dropped a Kim Kardashian 'diss track' with her new album.

A song called 'thanK you aIMee' features on Swift's 11th studio album release, and already you can see a Kim link as the capital letters in the song title spell out the name 'KIM'.

The track focuses on a seemingly fictional story of a feud that Swift had with a woman called Aimee from her hometown.

Aimee was somewhat of a bully who later became celebrated.

"All that time you were throwin' punches, I was buildin' somethin," Swift says in the chorus of the song.

Swift fans on the website Genius believe they know exactly what the song intends.

"Kim Kardashian’s attempt to ruin Taylor’s career during the phone scandal backfired on her and boosted Taylor to an even higher level of fame," they theorised.

"And one day, your kid comes home singin," another line Swift sings.

"A song that only us two is gonna know is about you."

And on Genius, it claims: "This is likely a reference to North West having posted a TikTok dancing to a Taylor Swift song."

Fans will know this as a particular nod to Kim's daughter North Face who danced to 'Shake it Off' in a viral TikTok video.

Many fans have since flocked to social media after realizing the correlation.

"I DID NOT HAVE TAYLOR SWIFT GAGGING KIM KARDASHIAN ON MY 2024 BINGO CARD OMFG?????" one person on X, formerly known as Twitter penned.

"Not a song about a school bully being called thanK you aIMEE... KIM," a second added.

"Remember when we thought The Tortured Poets Department was a Joe Alwyn breakup album and then Taylor Swift took out Matt Healy and Kim Kardashian too?" a third remarked, while a fourth wrote: "Has anyone checked on Kim Kardashian after Taylor Swift just handed her her a** on a silver platter."
