Toddler Calls 911 To Get Help Putting On Trousers, Police Oblige

It’s a double-edged sword teaching a child how to call emergency services.

On the one hand it’s vital they have some clue what to do in an emergency – but their idea of what constitutes an emergency isn’t always the same as an adult’s.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office were made all too aware of that fact when a two-year-old dialed with a fashion crisis, although due to her age she was unable to fully explain.

To make sure that there was no genuine emergency an officer was dispatched.

Deputy Martha Lohnes arrived and was relieved to discover that little Aaliyah wasn’t in any immediate danger, and proceeded to help her get her trousers on.

It is reported that the toddler wasn’t alone in the house but had eluded her grandfather to make the call.

This was later confirmed by her mother, Pebbles Ryan, on Facebook.
