Turkish military have been accused of trying to seize power, after a night of gunfire and explosions across the country.
As part of this attempted coup, it was reported by RT that armed forces attempted to take control of national media outlets including CNN Türk, Hurriyet and the state-run TRT TV last night.

But now, dramatic new footage behind the scenes has revealed the moment police, journalists and civilians fought back against soldiers inside the CNN Türk offices.
The army officers become overrun with the sheer numbers, as they fail to keep the situation under control. Many punches are thrown at the soldiers during by pro-government protestors as they are forced to retreat.

One journalist was reportedly shot during this raid, according to BuzzFeed News Middle East correspondent, Borzou Zaragahi, citing a senior Turkish official.
The channel has since returned to the air, after protesters reclaimed the building:

At least 90 people were killed and more than 1,000 wounded during the attempted coup, with over 1,500 soldiers since being arrested.
