A kickboxing coach and his student are facing prison after starting a drunken brawl and then attacking paramedics who had come to treat them.
According to The Mirror, police are now investigating the incident which took place in Moscow after the whole thing was captured on CCTV.
Shop assistants said the pair – a 35-year-old coach and his 22-year-old student – seemed absolutely smashed when they came into the shop to buy more alcohol.
They then proceeded to fall out with a group of men who were already in the store – before attacking them.
Other witnesses said the kickboxers could hardly stand up and, needless to say, the duo soon lost the fight and staff called an ambulance to treat their injuries.
But they weren’t done yet. When the paramedics arrived on the scene, the kickboxers decided it would be a good idea to launch a second assault on them.
One paramedic said:
I got kicked in my face and my head a few times. Doctors had to put stitches in my nose, and I also suffered concussion. My general condition is not great.
Police have charged the pair with assault and hooliganism and they now face up to two years in jail if they are convicted.
Officers say the kickboxing coach told them:
Even if I did something, I don’t remember it. It must have been an accident.
He should probably watch the footage.
