When you are surrounded by police who want to arrest you many things may flash before you’re eyes, mainly of what could happen to you in prison. In this woman’s case her concern was primarily with what wouldn’t happen for her in prison.
Leanne Hunn was involved in a seven hour face-off with authorities in Jacksonville, Florida, along with Ryan Bautista and Michael Forte.
Officers first arrived on the scene at around 9:30pm amid reports of false imprisonment and began to communicate with the wanted trio via loudspeakers and a telephone.
The group initially released two women from their possession, eventually allowing a third to leave after dragging her around the property and pinning the victim down in a bedroom.
Police then requested 30-year-old Hunn vacate the property too, but she had other ideas telling officers she “wanted to have sex with Bautista one last time” before allowing herself to be arrested.
The phone line promptly went dead after the terms of surrender were issued and the SWAT team were drafted in.
The SWAT force entered the property and arrested Hunn, Bautista, and Forte at around 4am. Hunn and Bautista were charged with resisting arrest and false imprisonment, while Forte was charged with possession of a weapon, armed robbery, and murder related crimes.
It is unconfirmed whether the requested act was completed, but regardless it seems unlikely it will hold up in court as a valid reason for resisting arrest. Worth a dabble though.
